Emotion. Function. Aesthetics. The focus of the studio’s work goes towards a holistic approach on new concepts that are strategical meaningful and sustainable. Using high quality materials in a smart and durable construction, well designed details and a conscientious handling of resources play an important role for a durable new product. First and foremost the result should not only solve a problem but also create an emotional bond to its consumer.

Biography


Productdesign Studio Cologne

Motivated by the goal to create long-living, high quality products SARTORY Design works as an independant design partner for a variety of brands and clients from all over the world.
 The design studio located in Cologne, Germany, was established by Sascha Sartory in 2014, after he worked several years for different agencies where he learned that good design can be used as the driving force behind new and innovative products that make a difference.

After his studies in product- and industrial design at the University of Applied Science Aachen (Diploma I in 2004) and University Wuppertal (Diploma II in 2007) Sascha Sartory worked for different design agencies where he learned how to combine latest technologies, trends and materials to create new and innovative consumer products. Since 2009 he works as an independent designer as well as he is co-founder and part of the FORMFUSION Produktdesign team, together with industrial designer Sebastian Hoek.
